precept.concept.percept RESIDENCY PROGRAM
As participant composer, you will:
- Join a one-year residency program and compose new works or workshop existing compositions.
- Have your work featured at the fifth .abeceda Contemporary Music Festival, including a professional video and audio recording of the performance.
- Collaborate interactively with ensemble performers and fellow composers throughout the year.
- Participate in score reading sessions and rehearsals of your own works and those of fellow participant composers during the festival week.
- Present your work, theorize, and optimize your compositional practice through monthly online sessions.
- Attend lectures, symposia, and concerts during the festival week while networking with guest composers and residency participants from around the world.
*Selected compositions from the residency program will be professionally performed and recorded in 2026 by .abeceda [New Music Ensemble].
