The residency provides:

• An extended development period rather than a single short-term workshop
• Direct exchange between composers, performers, and ensembles
• A structured progression from artistic presentation to public performance
• Time for score reading, analysis, testing, reflection, and revision
• A framework in which performers’ knowledge contributes to compositional development
• A context in which rehearsal becomes part of artistic inquiry
